Listen to Light director Sugita Kyoshi adapts the title poem "Haruhara-san's Recorder" from Higashi Naoko's first collection. The film won three awards in the 32nd FIDMarseille's International Competition including the first-ever Grand Prize for a Japanese film.
Sachi (Araki Chika) quits her museum job and starts working part time at a cafe and moves into an apartment recommended by one of the regular customers. She begins her new life, but she still thinks about the partner she'll never meet again.
