A coming-of-age love story based on the girls' comic by Anan Kujira, which has sold over 2.6 million copies in total. Directed by Shinjo Takehiko, who has a reputation for his love stories and has created a series of hits such as Daytime Shooting Star and Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight.
Maaya (Hata Mei) is a second year high school student who confesses her love for the first time in her life, but ends up being crushed.
