A coming-of-age love story based on the girls' comic by Anan Kujira, which has sold over 2.6 million copies in total. Directed by Shinjo Takehiko, who has a reputation for his love stories and has created a series of hits such as Daytime Shooting Star and Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight.
Maaya (Hata Mei) is a second year high school student who confesses her love for the first time in her life, but ends up being crushed. The most handsome boy in school, Chigira (Takahashi Kyohei), despite knowing that she is depressed, for some reason proposes that they pretend to have unrequited love.
