A documentary that unravels the charm of Akai Hidekazu, a highly talented boxer who caused a frenzy throughout Japan, through his fight footage and interviews at the time. Director Sakamoto Junji, who directed Akai's acting debut, Knockout, fully cooperated with the production of this film, which was directed and edited by the boxer's son, Akai Eigoro.
Akai Hidekazu made his impressive debut in 1980, winning 21 fights and 19 victories. In the film, Eigoro asks his father, now an actor and TV personality, about his first encounter with boxing.
