The twenty-fifth theatrical outing for "Detective Conan", which is an animated adaptation of Aoyama Gosho's comic series serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Against the backdrop of the bustling Shibuya district of Tokyo during the Halloween season, a fateful incident that intersects the past and present unfolds.
An assailant suddenly bursts into the wedding ceremony of Detective Sato and Detective Takagi from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, which Conan (Takayama Minami) and other invited guests are attending. The situation is brought under control, but Sato's eyes are filled with the image of the Grim Reaper that she saw when Detective Matsuda was killed in a serial bombing incident three years earlier.
