This is the seventeenth completely original film by Imaizumi Rikiya, director of numerous high-profile films such as What is Love?, which won the Audience Award at the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival.
Freelance writer Ichikawa Shigemi (Inagaki Goro) knows that his editor wife, Sae (Nakamura Yuri), is having an affair with the head writer, but he is unable to tell her. One day, at a literary award ceremony, Ichikawa is attracted to the award-winning work of high school writer Kubo Rua (Tamashiro Tina), and asks if she has a model for her novel.
