Around the Edge of the Stand director Jojo Hideo scripts and helms this adaptation of Inoue Kaeru's teen novel "Afterschool Anglers Club for High School Girls."
Oikawa Mezashi (Toomi) was the target of bullying, but she transfers to a girl's high school in a Kansai port town due to her father's work. Her classmate Shiira (Marupi) forces her to join the Angler Girls Club for fishing enthusiasts. She's never even touched a fishing pole and is flustered at first, but she starts enjoying fishing and spending time with her friends.
