[ Story ]
Director Shiraishi Kazuya (The Blood of Wolves) takes on a historical drama for the first time, teaming up with Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (Midnight Swan) for this revenge drama.
Yanagida Kakunoshin (Kusanagi), a ronin who was falsely accused of a crime and lost his wife, is chased out of his hometown of Hikone and lives in a poor tenement house in Edo with his daughter Okinu (Kiyohara Kaya). Kakunoshin's honest character was reflected in his long-time preference for Go, a game in which he believed in playing without deceit. One day, Kakunoshin and Okinu decide to take revenge when they learn the truth about a false accusation from an old samurai friend.
