A film commemorating the 70th anniversary of the globally popular special effects monster film Godzilla. On this 30th Japanese outing, Yamazaki Takashi, director of Parasyte, served as director, screenwriter, and VFX. On the 12th January 2024, a black-and-white version called Godzilla Minus One / Minus Color was released.
Japan has been scorched by war. Godzilla appears as if to strike back at the country that has lost everything and become "nothing" (zero). With its tremendous power, it reduces the country to a "negative" (minus). Will the nameless people left behind be able to survive and fight back?
