Animated film adaptation of the short manga of the same name published by Toriyama Akira of ‘Dragon Ball' fame in 2000. Renowned production studios Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga and ANIMA joined forces for this production.
SAND LAND is a desert world where both demons and humans suffer from water shortages. Beelzebub (Tamura Mutsumi), a fiend prince with a pure heart, forms a trio with the demon Thief (Cho), and the elderly sheriff Rao (Yamaji Kazuhiro), who has a strong sense of justice, and sets off on a journey to find a "legendary spring" somewhere in the desert.
