This is the directorial debut of Singh Hemant, a self-taught filmmaker from India, who tackles the theme of "bullying" with an original script written entirely in Japanese.
Kano (Koike Julian), a young girl with a large scar on her face, has suffered persistent bullying and inequality since childhood. When an event leads her to discover her own hidden potential, she decides to leave her poor village life and set her sights on a brighter future. But then, her mother gets involved in an incident.
