A film co-produced by Japan and Laos to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. At the helm is Kumazawa Makoto who directed A Yell from Heaven.
In 1960, the people of Japan are bursting with enthusiasm in anticipation of the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. Amid these times, Kawai (Inoue Yuta) bolts from Japan and goes to Laos for a dam construction survey. However, he is never heard from again after an accident during the survey. In 2015, amid Laos' rapid urban development, Noi (Thida Sitphaxay) leaves her hometown due to differences with her family but by some strange circumstance, loses her way and ends up in 1960 Laos.
