[ Story ]
Set against the backdrop of the Baus Theater in Kichijoji, which closed in 2014, this story depicts the journey of a family who continued to provide entertainment despite being at the mercy of the times. Director Hokimoto Sora, who directed the film Visit Me in My Dreams, adapted the screenplay by director Aoyama Shinji, who passed away in 2022, into a film.
In 1927, Saneo (Sometani Shota) and Hajime (Mineta Kazunobu), captivated by the magic of motion pictures, move to Tokyo. By chance, they begin working at Kichijoji's first movie theater, the Inokashira hall. The two of them aim to develop the theater, but the footsteps of war are fast approaching.
