[ Story ]
Being the granddaughter of a yakuza leader was only troublesome.
Isaku Senagaki (F) had difficulty navigating her life due to others fearing her for her background. Determined to have a normal high school life filled with love and friendship, Isaku hides her identity and suppresses her feelings for Keiya Utō (M), her personal guard. She tells herself "If I fall in love with a yakuza man, I won't be able to live the normal life I want" and tries to sever ties with her yakuza household.
However, her plans were altered when Keiya appeared as a high schooler in the same class. Worried about Isaku's romantic endeavors, he pulled strings to enter the school to protect her from the dangers of men as her "guard dog". As Isaku spends more time with Keiya during her activities in high school, her suppressed love for Keiya grows stronger. On the other hand, Keiya who experiences high school for the first time, notices an emotional spark towards Isaku.
Isaku's nearly perfect high school life is threatened by Mikio Tanuki, the young heir of another prominent
yakuza family. Intrigued by Isaku and Keiya's relationship, Mikio kidnaps Isaku. As Keiya rushes to her rescue, an intense confrontation ensues between him and Mikio. Amid the chaos, Isaku, having grown more independent through her high school experiences, takes matters into her own hands and manages to free herself from Mikio's grasp.
With Mikio disappearing after the incident, Keiya and Isaku return to their normal high school lives. They are cast as the leads in the school's production of Romeo and Juliet, a story that mirrors their own relationship. Unlike the tragic ending of Shakespeare's classic, Isaku and Keiya's real-life story concludes with a happy ending, as their bond deepens and they find their happily ever after together.
