[ Story ]
Shinnosuke Orimoto, a former popular TV anchor who was relegated to an affiliated radio station, is broadcasting a boring program as usual. When he takes a call from a listener, the listener doesn't answer his question. As Orimoto tries to ignore and hang up the call, the listener threatens to blow up a nearby power plant. Orimoto assumes it's just a prank and hangs up. But soon after, the power plant, visible from a nearby window, explodes with a loud bang. The threat was real.
Orimoto sees the sudden threatening phone call from the culprit as a great opportunity to make a comeback as an anchor. He decides to broadcast the entire negotiation with the terrorists live. He contacts Shoji, the producer of "Showtime" the flagship TV program he used to anchor, and persuades him to let him broadcast the program himself. Orimoto connects the Showtime broadcast to the radio booth, and the call comes in again. What is the criminal's purpose? An exclusive live broadcast with the terrorist begins.
