Manga artist Rohan Kishibe is conducting research in a confessional booth inside a church in Venice, Italy, during a trip. Traditionally, a confessional booth is a place where believers confess their sins to a priest to cleanse their souls. Intrigued by the wisdom of ancient traditions, Rohan decides to experience the confessional booth for himself but mistakenly ends up on the priest's side. Soon, a man comes in to make a confession. Driven by his belief that "experience brings reality to his work" and his curiosity, Rohan decides to masquerade as a priest and listens to the man's confession. The man begins to recount a terrifying event that occurred 25 years ago...
