Laughter-inducing adaptation of the same-named essay collection from Naoki Prize-winning author Sato Aiko. Directed by Maeda Tetsu, known for I Don't Have Any Money Left in My Retirement Account.
90-year-old writer Aiko (Kusabue Mitsuko) has declared she will never write again and spends her days in gloom. Meanwhile, Yoshikawa (Karasawa Toshiaki), a middle-aged editor at a major publishing house, is suspended from work after his old-fashioned communication style is flagged for power and sexual harassment. One day, Yoshikawa's editorial department proposes an essay series penned by Aiko.
Based on the original novel "90sai Naniga Medetai" "98sai Tatakaiyamazu Hiwakurezu" by Aiko Sato, published by Shogakukan Inc.
