First film in the new two-part live-action adaptation of Nitta Tatsuo's popular yakuza manga "The Quiet Don," comprehensively produced by Motomiya Yasukaze of the "Japan Unification" series.
Shizuya (Ito Kentaro) leads a double life as design firm employee by day and Shinsen syndicate boss by night. Several months after wrapping up a conflict with the Kishu gang, Shizuya learns that Kaifu (Watanabe Ikkei) has been released from prison and is now the Kishu gang's sixth-generation leader. The Shinsen gang remains cautious, but Kaifu comes to pay Shizuya a visit.
