Feature-length animated film debut from director Tsukahara Shigeyoshi, whose film Hashi no Mukou was featured in the Short Film Corner section at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
Detective Sotaro (Kanda Hakuzan) investigates the mystery of mass disappearances that has left everyone confounded. There are no witnesses, and the motive behind these incidents remains unclear. What are the eerie "wheel tracks" that invariably appear at each scene? Sotaro infiltrates the city's underground realm known as "Kuragari" in search of clues, and he encounters an armored train and its commander, Tanne.
