Sachi Sato is an active extroverted woman. Tamotsu Sato is a serious introverted person with a strong sense of justice. They belong to the same university club. Despite being complete opposites, they somehow hit it off, and soon after they begin dating and living together.
Tamotsu, who dreams of becoming a lawyer, takes the bar exam but fails. However, Tamotsu does not give up and wants to try again, and Sachi supports him. Sachi, who has been working as a company employee, starts to study with Tamotsu to help him in his solitary efforts.
Three years later. Tamotsu fails to pass the bar exam again, but Sachi passes the exam and starts her career as a lawyer first, which Tamotsu is desperately eager to be.
