A human drama based on the true story of baseball player Yokota Shintaro, who was a promising young player for the Hanshin Tigers team but was forced to retire after developing a brain tumor at the age of 21.
Yokota (Matsutani Takaya), who missed out on the Koshien (national high school) baseball tournament but whose talent caught the eye of scouts, turned professional in 2013. He made impressive progress in the tough professional world, and was selected as a starter for the first team in the opening game of 2016. Just as it seemed a long smooth sailing baseball career awaited him, something went wrong with his body.
