Takeda Ayano's coming-of-age novel is adapted into a live-action film by director Igashi Aya, who gained attention for Tokeru and A Crimson Star.
Miyata Hiiro (Minami Sara) lives a "shitty" college life, spending most of her time doing housework in place of her spendthrift mother and working part-time at a convenience store, just to cover tuition and household expenses. She never expects anything from her parents or friends. One day, she overhears a strange rumor about her classmate, Enaga Miyabi (Baba Fumika). Then, they meet — two people who thought they couldn't build a normal relationship with anyone else.
