Up-and-coming director Tamada Shinya directs and scripts this feature film adaptation of the play by Matsuda Masataka, known for the script of {A Boy's Summer in 1945} and the original story for The Blossoming of Kamiya Etsuko. Shot in September 2024 entirely on location in Nagasaki, where the story takes place.
Koura Osamu (Odagiri Joe) wanders like a ghost through the hilly cityscape, reeling from the loss of his young son, and is separated from wife Keiko (Matsu Takako). One day, his sister Asako (Mitsushima Hikari) brings her daughter Yuko (Takaishi Akari) to visit.
