[ Story ]
Feature-length documentary with additional reporting and editing of the TV program aired in February 2024 about the 1961 poisoned-wine murders that TV Tokai has covered over the years.
On March 28, 1961, five women died after drinking wine at a village social gathering, and 35-year-old Okunishi Masaru was arrested. After being acquitted once, he was sentenced to death and died in prison at age 89, maintaining his innocence to the end. His sister Miyoko continued petitioning for a retrial. The film captures her pursuit of the truth and her belief in her brother's innocence.
