Drama based on the true story of Okunishi Masaru, who was imprisoned in 1961 as the perpetrator in the Nabari poisoned wine incident in Mie Prefecture, and has insisted on his innocence for over five decades. Tokai TV, which produced a judiciary documentary, includes news footage to show the full picture of the incident.
Okunishi (Yamamoto Taro), a 35-year-old farmer in Nabari City, was living modestly with his wife and children. But, on March 28, 1961, 15 women collapsed at a village gathering, and five people died, including his wife. Okunishi was taken in as a material witness.
