Produced by Tokai Television Broadcasting, this true-to-life drama probes into the heart of a crime using actual footage of news coverage at the time the crime occurred. It is written and directed by Saito Junichi who has continued to sharply question the state of Japan's justice system. Abuno Katsuhiko, who also teamed up with Saito on The Defender of Death-Row Convicts, serves as producer.
A gruesome crime occurred on August 24, 2007. A woman on her way home is kidnapped, murdered, and her body dumped in the mountains. The suspects are three men who met on an outlawed website. The case throws into disarray the lives of the victim's and suspects' families.
