[ Story ]
Nagao Naoki, also active in the TV ad and music video field, directs his third feature, following Tetto Musashino-Sen.
Natsui Inako (Tadano Miako) works for the city government as a water quality analyst. At the spa inn she visits for research tests, she meets the inn's handyman Tamamizu (Toyokawa Etsushi). He has somewhat of a bad reputation, but a series of incidents triggers Inako's feelings for him. Meanwhile, Inako's mother Sumie, who lives alone, receives a letter from Inako's father, who supposedly had died in Brazil when the daughter was still a young girl. Sumie simply gazes far into the distance. One day, when Inako visits Tamamizu's apartment, she is greeted not by Tamamizu himself, but his son. Inako, shaken, learns that Tamamizu will soon be leaving the town. On a visit to her mother's home, Inako takes Sumie to a hot spring spa, a place with happy family memories. She unexpectedly sees her mother's tears and understands the deep emotions that her mother still holds for her father. This experience confirms for Inako her feelings for Tamamizu.
