Omnibus film featuring the first-ever film appearance in the lead role for author Yoshida Rui, the man who ignited the pub craze. Nagao Naoki of Argentine Hag directs.
The trilogy consists of Izakaya Chance about an idol (Matsumoto Kiyo) on the run who flees to a bar for folks at the mercy of chance; Dotsubo Sakaba about an ordinary office worker (Ito Atsushi) who runs into trouble at a pub filled with quirky customers; and Furusato Sakaba Tosakko about a guy (Yoshida) on the lam who drinks a well-known sake from his hometown and reminisces about his youth.
