Film adaptation of the smartphone game app "Neko Atsume," which has been downloaded over 20 million times to date. The unique cast includes Ito Atsushi and Kutsuna Shioli, who also stars in Deadpool 2 (tentative title).
Writer Sakumoto Masaru (Ito) won a newcomer's award at a young age, but is now in a big slump. His editor Michiru (Kutsuna) keeps offering him encouragement. One day, a weirdo realtor (Okubo Kayoko) gets Sakumoto to move to an old farmhouse in the countryside, where a cat comes over to visit.
