[ Story ]
A theatrical feature film version of a mega hit TV drama based on a popular manga by Morita Masanori. With smoldering passionand energy, the film tells a triumphant story of a newly arrived passionate teacher rebuilding a baseball team eventually leading them to the national championship games. It is a direct sequel to the TV version and all the main cast members are back in the game with two new junior members Yamamoto Yusuke and Ishida Takuya adding new flavor to an original story that spans until their graduation. In spring of 2009, Aniya (Ichihara Hayato) and the team become seniors and Kawato (Sato Ryuta) is back teaching at Futakotamagawa High. The team welcomes two newcomers Akaboshi (Yamamoto) and Hamanaka (Ishida). But Akaboshi declares he's only interested in lending a hand during games because he's aiming for the American major league. Hamanaka is dismayed to discover the true nature of Hiratsuka (Kiritani Kenta), whom he had idolized as a hero. The team is put to the test when Mikoshiba (Koide Keisuke) breaks his leg trying to protect Akaboshi from delinquents.
