[ Story ]
An adaptation of Tezuka Osamu's 1976 novel in film form. The twisted casting of the cool, handsome Tamaki Hiroshi as a cutthroat opposite the wild, individualistic Yamada Takayuki as a Christian priest has caused a buzz. Having witnessed an atrocious mass murder as boys, two men, Garai Yutaro (Yamada Takayuki) and Yuki Michio (Tamaki Hiroshi), walk drastically opposing life paths. On the one hand is Yuki, who calmly commits sin after sin in his quest for vengeance. On the other, Garai, who can do nothing to stop his counterpart and is plagued with guilt. Soon, the intrigue leading to the massacre is finally uncovered.
