[ Story ]
Yanagiya Kosanji is a rakugo comic storyteller who is skilled at telling humorous stories in a detached tone. This is a documentary film following the days of this modern day rakugo master, whose motto is "in search of oneself throughout one's life," for three and a half years, filming his solo performances at storyteller halls, backstage scenes and private scenes. The work features the spirit of an artist living his life to the fullest through scenes where he seriously take to skiing, haiku, classic music (where he also sings) and many other hobbies on top of his work. His senior and junior colleagues including Katsura Beicho and Yanagiya Sanza of the rakugo world also make an appearance.
