[ Story ]

The film version of the cult, hugely popular "DEMEKING" comic by manga artist Imashiro Takashi, who joined as a script writer for the film. Nadagi Takeshi (The Plan 9), a comedian who has also been highly praised for his acting abilities, gives a strong performance as the brooding, fractious young man. Junior high school student Hiroshi (Kiyasu Kohei), who will only play with younger children, meets the young, taciturn Hachiya (Nadagi Takeshi) as he rides his bike. Shortly after, a strange friendship begins to blossom between them. But then Hachiya disappears, leaving behind only the puzzling words, "I am going to fight Demeking."
