A remake of the 1997 German film Knockin' on Heaven's Door, this stylish film tells of a young man and a girl suffering from incurable diseases who embark on a road trip to see the ocean. The director is Michael Arias of Tekkonkinkreet. Suddenly, twenty eight year old Masato (Nagase Tomoya) is diagnosed with a fatal disease, and after he is hospitalized he befriends Harumi (Fukuda Mayuko), who shares a similar fate. Having been continuously hospitalized, Harumi has never seen the ocean. So when they find a convertible with the keys still in the ignition, they steal the car and set off to see the ocean.
