[ Story ]
Ken (Naito Takashi) is visiting Okinawa on business when he drops in on his former blues bandmate, Yosuke (Okuda Eiji), who is less than happy to see him due to their acrimonious split 26 years earlier. Ken proposes that they reform the band, but Yosuke suddenly collapses; he is in the late stages of cancer. They later agree to reunite with vocalist Kayo (Momoi Kaori) for a one-time-only performance, and afterwards Ken invites the hotel-residing Yosuke and his wife Shizuka (Watanabe Honami) to stay at his home. Ken devotes himself to caring for his friend, but Yosuke's condition worsens and he ultimately succumbs to his illness. Suppressing his grief, Ken takes Shizuka back to Okinawa.
Canadian filmmaker Claude Gagnon directs this mature drama, his first Japanese production since Keiko in 1979.
