A Studio Ghibli animation based on Mary Norton's children's novels, "The Borrowers," set in modern day Japan. A story of a budding love between a boy and a tiny girl who must not let her existence be known by humans. 14-year-old Arrietty (voice: Shida Mirai) lives with her parents under the floor boards of a grand house with a large garden. They are a family of tiny people and they "borrow" from the humans what items they can to get by. But one summer day, Arrietty is discovered by a 12-year-old boy, Sho (voice: Kamiki Ryunosuke), who has moved into the house to recover from an illness...
