[ Story ]

A Japanese-Canadian co-production shot entirely in English. A heartwarming and humorous drama about three estranged brothers and sisters who start to bond with one another, through their mysterious Japanese grandmother. Written and directed by Ogigami Naoko of Kamome Diner (Kamome Shokudo). Ogigami tells the story with her trademark wry sense of humor. Plastic model geek Ray (Alex House) has to return home because his mother has died. Awaiting his arrival are his reclusive older brother, obnoxious younger sister, and "Baachan," his grandmother (Motai Masako) who doesn't speak a word of English.
