Zeze Takahisa spent five painstaking years completing this work, which won two awards, the FIPRESCI and NETPAC awards, at Berlin International Film Festival2011. A compelling story develops, covering nine chapters over four and a half hours, and involving over twenty protagonists. The film is centered around the life of Sato (Tsuruoka Moeki), a girl whose family was killed when she was a child, and depicts the vengeance and rebirth of different people connected by a string of murders, such as Tomoki(Hasegawa Tomoharu), whose wife and child were murdered, and Kaijima(Murakami Jun), a police officer with an unspeakable job on the side.
