[ Story ]
In Room 0 of the Hotel Venus lives manager, Chonan (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi), a tortured young man who has lost the will to live after the death of his fiancee in a car accident. The other guests are similarly forlorn individuals whose lives are weighed down by past incidents that prevent them from living in the present. The sudden entrance of a drifter and a young girl sets off a chain of events that affects every inhabitant of the hotel. Chonan discovers newfound happiness in his attempts to reopen the damaged heart of the young girl, but one day during an otherwise mundane quarrel, the girl is seriously wounded by a stray bullet. Through their contact with her, the residents realize their own reasons for living and begin to leave the hotel one by one.
Featuring a cast of Korean and Japanese stars and all Korean dialogue, this black-and-white ensemble drama was shot in Vladivostok, Russia.
