Film adaptation of Kitano Takeshi's first romantic novel of the same title. A love story that looks at the "starting point" of people's loving each other.
Designer Satoru (Ninomiya Kazunari) happens to meet Miyuki (Haru), a mysterious woman who does not have a mobile phone, at the coffee shop "Piano". Without exchanging contact details, the two promise to meet every Thursday at the same place, and they began to spend precious time together. Then, just as Satoru decides to propose without knowing Miyuki's true identity, Miyuki suddenly disappears.
