Animation creator Yamamoto Yutaka is known for his hit TV animation series Lucky Star (Raki Suta) and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu). This is his live-action feature debut. Comedian Kanada Satoshi of the popular comedy duo Hanya plays an insufferable senior student at school. 16 year old Yamako (Kawashima Umika) has a crush on Minami (Irie Jingi), an older boy at school. She keeps the love letters she writes to him, and spends her days daydreaming. One day Yamako drops a letter, which is found by the annoying Fuwa (Kanada), who hounds her to follow his "grand plan" so that she can confess her love to Minami.
