[ Story ]

This is the 4th film adaptation of Tsutsui Yasutaka's short novel. The work is arranged in a post-fin style, freshly telling the story of a girl who jumps into the past to look for her mother's first love. The main character is played by Naka Riisa, who played the voice of the same character in the animated version produced in 2006. Akari (Naka) is a senior in high school headed for college when her mother Kazuko (Yasuda Narumi) is knocked unconscious in an accident. Akari is hurt when she hears her mother say in delirium that she is going to return to 1972 to meet Fukamachi (Ishimaru Kanji). When Akari is finally able to make a time leap, she tries to travel back in the past for Kazuko, but for some reason she jumps to 1974.
