[ Story ]
A coming-of-age film based on a real story of the struggles of high school boys aiming to make it to a national softball tournament. The director is Toyoshima Keisuke, known for Your Honor! How About a Little Leniency? (Saibancho! Koko wa choeki yonen de dodesuka). It was filmed in an actual high school. Because there isn't a single softball club in the entire prefecture, simply starting a club would automatically qualify them as the prefectural representatives, allowing them to enter the national tournament -- at least that's what Noguchi (Kaku Kento) and Onitsuka (Nagayama Kento) thought. However, it turns out the members of the club are a bunch of amateurs who can't even play catch.
