The fourth installment of the film version of the omnibus horror series Tales of Terror (Kaidan Shin Mimi Bukuro). Directed by Shinozaki Makoto, whose feature debut Welcome Home (Okaeri) was winner of 11 international awards, including the Berlin International Film Festival Wolfgang Staudte Award, and the Montreal Award for the Best First Fiction Film at the Montreal World Film Festival. The film is made up of two parts. Attached (Tsukimono) tells the tale of a college student, Ayumi (Mano Erina), who is followed around by an eerie barefooted girl. Nozomi is about Megumi (Mano), a girl in high school who is haunted by hallucinations and memories of her dead sister.
