The live-action version of the novel by the same name written by the team of Matsuhisa Atsushi + Tanaka Wataru, who are also known for originally penning the book that HEAVEN'S BOOKSTORE (Tengoku no Honya - Koibi) was based on. This film comically depicts the frustrating relationship between a lively girl and a timid boy, with a side story about their friends' love. The director is Hirakawa Yuichiro of ROOKIES (ROOKIES Sotsugyo) fame. Miharu (Tanaka Kei) is a timid anime scriptwriter who reunites with Makie (Karina), a tomboy who runs a flower store downtown, for the first time in 17 years. His childhood friend is all grown up and beautiful, and Miharu falls in love with her. Makie, however, has just decided to try to work things out with her ex-boyfriend.
