[ Story ]
This romantic comedy is based on the Japanese term 'soshoku-kei danshi,' a major buzzword in Japan in 2009 that likens men who are meek to herbivores. Coupled with The Carnivore Girl (Nikushokukei joshi), this film examines the disposition of today's youth through the daily life of a quiet boy indifferent to matters of love. Yoichi (Sakimoto Hiromi), who works at a design company, is a through-and-through 'soshoku-kei danshi' with a real sweet tooth. A likable young guy, all the girls make advances towards him. Secretly in love with him is Hikari (Orihara Mika), however, who can't stand to watch it any longer.
