[ Story ]

This heartfelt story originates from a mermaid legend found in Yaeyama, Okinawa. Director Kita Ichiro is known for his many works depicting vibrant adolescence dramas. One day, Nakahama Koichi (Mikami Masashi), who works at the tourism department on Taketomi Island, rescues a young woman named Miu (Iida Riho), who had collapsed on the beach. She comes to work part-time at the inn Koichi's parents own. As her identity remains a mystery, before long, a rumor begins to circulate that she is... a mermaid.
