This is a film version of a cyber science fiction Western show that was broadcast on TV in 1998 and that became popular in the U.S. and other foreign countries. The fierce gunfight created by Madhouse, makers of Summer Wars, is worth seeing. The story is set in the near future, on a frontier planet. Bounty hunters come one after another to catch the legendary robber Gasback (voice: Isobe Tsutomu). Among them is a wanted man, Vash the Stampede (voice: Onosaka Masaya), who has transcendent shooting skills.
