This is the 11th in the New Sense Literary Film series, making films of Japanese literary classics with a modern sensibility. The original works are Hori Tatsuo's "The Holy Family" and "Yamatoji." Katagiri Jin, a part of the comic duo The Rahmens and a highly acclaimed actor, stars in a film for the first time. The artist Henri (Katagiri) falls into a slump after the death of his master Kuki (Takano Hiroyuki). Furthermore, Kuki's wife Madam Hosoki (Hori Chiemi) and her daughter Kinuko (Iwada Sayuri) cause turmoil in Henri's heart.
