[ Story ]
This documentary is directed by Iwao Koji, the creator of "Kintetsu Rail Report" and several other railway-related DVDs. He uses a number of techniques to make us really feel we are present at the scene, such as filming from the side of the driving wheel. This film is made up of two parts; Oigawa Railway Story (Oigawa Tetsudo Monogatari), a dynamic production that introduces us to the passion of the railway employees who seek to restore steam locomotives (SL), and Yamaguchi Line Stories (Yamaguchi Sen Monogatari), a film about the aesthetically pleasing SL Yamaguchi C57-1 train known by its pet name "the Lady." The train is introduced through the poetry of a local poet, Nakahara Chuya.
