This is one entry in a collection of short films starring CITYBOYS, a veteran comedy group made up of Kitaro, Otake Makoto, and Saiki Shigeru. Okita Shuichi of The Chef of South Polar (Nankyoku Ryorinin) fame is the director and screenwriter. This marks comedian Shukugawa Atom's acting debut. Sozaburo (Shukugawa) excels at swordsmanship, but doesn't know the first thing about books. Entangled in a government plot, he is ordered to commit "seppuku" -- to slice his belly in ritual suicide. Without any poetry experience to lean on, he racks his brain to try to come up with a suitable death poem.
